With the launch of the 1965 Ford Mustang it became quite popular in the whole world as a new kind of car. The 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang was an encompassing and brilliant marketing target that encouraged America to look for the new kind of car and purchase it. The car was first made public on April 16. It gradually became America's best-loved sporty car and several companies started to offer essential Mustang parts. The wonderful car saw its inception in the early 1960s and the world came to know about the potential of Mustang. Mustang began to be identified as the original pony car and the in later years 1967, 1968, Ford Mustang witnessed gradual developments.
The Ford Mustang is created muscle car mania in America. Although the Ford Mustang had to face certain changes, yet the second car introduced in 1966 were not greatly changed. However, certain Mustang parts underwent changes such as thin bars replaced the grille's honeycomb background, and non-GT models were discarded with the grille's thick horizontal chrome bar. There were small vertical supports, leaving the galloping horse's corral so that it can apparently float in space. Additionally, the Fuel-filler cap, stock wheel covers, the simulated body-side scoops, emblems, and nameplates were also modified.
A huge splurge was noticed on Ford's interiors. Mustang was developed with adding new seat and door trim and along-with standard padded dash and sunvisors. All models were replaced with the five-dial GT instrumentation in place of the original cluster with its strip speedometer. The six-cylinder cars went from 13- to 14-inch standard wheels and tires, and the models got new engine mounts to reduce vibration. With outstanding changes in Mustang parts, the car got a new look, deluxe seatbelts with reminder light and inertia-reel retractors. The convertible carries a desirable "pony" interior trim with wood-effect steering wheel and dash appliqués. It is complete with under-dash air conditioning. Ford pushed six-cylinder Mustangs were built and sold more heavily since 1966.
