How to Install a HID Conversion Kit
If you want to improve your visibility at night, then you’ll want to invest in a HID conversion kit. They are simply the best way to get superior light output and they last up to eight times longer than your traditional tungsten bulbs. So what are you waiting for? Once you’ve picked up the perfect one for your vehicle, then you’ll want to install it. It’s really quite simple, just follow my instructions below.
1. First, choose a high quality HID kit conversion set. If you aren’t sure where to look, search online and do plenty of research so that you don’t get ripped off.
2. Next, get rid of your factory bulbs and replace them with HID bulbs. Make sure that you don’t touch the HID bulbs with your bare hands in the process. Human hands carry numerous oils and they may damage the bulb once it heats up. Wear gloves for this step.
3. Next plug the HID bulbs into that ballasts that should be included in the HID conversion kit that you purchased. Then mount the ballasts close to the headlights, as close as you can possible get. Secure them with self-tapping screws and nylon wires. When choosing the perfect spot to mount them, make sure that it isn’t an area that will be easily exposed to extreme heat or moisture. After you’ve secured the ballasts, connect the headlight harness to the ballast.
4. Finally, test them out. It may take a few seconds before they light up to their full capacity so be patient. It they look great then it’s time to replace the bezel. And that’s it!
Installing a HID conversion kit into your car will be a breeze. Just make sure you’ve got a high quality HID kit set with detailed directions. You’ll be looking and seeing great with your new set!
